Brand and design
- Omarchy logo : from omarchy.org/brand. Omarchy is a pending trademark of its owners. The mark is shown on configurations that passed every test.
- Colour themes: palettes from the 22 Omarchy themes (MIT), adjusted where needed to meet WCAG AA contrast.
- Icons: Lucide (ISC) for categories and interface; the GitHub mark from Primer Octicons (MIT); verdict icons drawn for this site.
- Fonts: JetBrains Mono and Inter, both under the SIL Open Font License.
- HTMX: htmx.org (0BSD).
Data
- Test criteria: generalised from Boyd's Vintage Mac Compatibility Test Criteria.
- Hardware probes: linuxhw LsPCI, LsUSB and Dmesg datasets, from real Linux machines.
- Board IDs and model metadata: the OpenCore AppleModels database (BSD-3-Clause).
- Specifications: Apple Support identification and Tech Specs pages, and EveryMac; each model page links its sources.
- Port layouts and port map drawings: read from Apple's own manuals (Essentials, user and quick-start guides) and Tech Specs. The drawings are original line drawings, to scale, made for DoesItOmarchy; each model page offers its drawing as an SVG download, published under CC BY-SA 4.0 with the catalog.
- PCI device names: the PCI ID Repository.
The catalog itself is published under CC BY-SA 4.0 and the site's code under MIT, in the DoesItOmarchy repository.
